TECH SPECS:
The Odeon concert was recorded by bassist Nate Pelfrey's dad, Jeff, on a cam-corder from the balcony of the club. The on-camera microphone soundtrack from this VHS tape was treated with X-Noise from Waves and sweetened with UAD plugins in Cubase 5 by Enormity frontman Brian Ullman in July 2018. It was mastered using LANDR’s automated system on the "medium" setting.
lyrics
Verse 1:
Swimming to you just to feel the coldness of your lies
Leaving a trail of games and tricks just to waste all of my time
There's nothing left to do but end this selfishness and greed
But I am dumb and you are sick I don't know what to plead
Chorus:
Someone smack me for I think I have a life
All my thoughts and dreams are full of all your lies
Smothering wishes can't bring me to my knees
I want to start anew just to show you who I need
To stand out like that man of the crowd
To stand out like that man of the crowd
Verse 2:
Your fire is never as hot as the passion of my hate
I know you're never in love and you're always too late
Blowing kisses to the one I love a lot
You're spitting on my grave while I'm down there smoking...
Chorus:
Someone smack me for I think I have a life
All my thoughts and dreams are full of all your lies
Smothering wishes can't bring me to my knees
I want to start anew just to show you who I need
To stand out like that man of the crowd
To stand out like that man of the crowd
